Kind of insane. There are some really cool uh fifth anniversary avatars that they are giving away for free. There are codes for the avatars. We’ll go over that. Speaking of free, a brand new free-to-play 10v10 shooter in Loaders has been announced from PlayStation 5 and PC coming from Empire of Ants developer Tower 5. We’ll talk that. And The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion remastered, which by the way is on sale right now on the PlayStation Store as a part of the summer sale has gotten a massive patch. We’ll talk that at the end of this video. But right off the bat, Sucker Punch Productions official Twitter account notes, “Happy fifth anniversary to Ghost of Tsushima.” Thank you so much to our amazing community that continues to show their love and support for our game. It’s been an honor to still see such love after 5 years later. We’d love to hear what makes Ghost of Ssushima special to you and see your favorite shot you captured in game. Use the code below to receive three new PlayStation avatars. Not going to go through the individual avatars, but there’s a set of codes uh live and I will put that up on the screen right now and they’ll be in the description box below to the sucker punch tweet and you can check out the avatars that look fantastic. I mean uh I’m not crazy about, you know, custom avatars or anything like that. Don’t really care for it, but these are very, very slick, very cool avatars that are live for the fifth anniversary. And just reminiscing about Ghost of Tsushima for a little while. Um I remember when that game came out. so vividly because as you guys might know the world was in absolute hell. I believe Ghost of Sushima actually got delayed for a couple months because the world went to hell in 2020 and it was interesting because Last of Us Part Two and Ghost of Ssushima came out I want to say in the span of like two months. Ghost uh Last of Us Part Two I want to say came out in late May, early June and then Ghost of Sushima came out in July. And I was obviously uh not very fond of the narrative direction that Last of Us Part Two took, but man, a game that blew me away was in fact Ghost of Sushim. And I remember a lot of the discourse when the game came out of people being like, “Hey, this is a really cool open world game.” And I should say critics um one of the major criticisms I saw over and over again was that Jyn wasn’t a compelling main character. He wasn’t an interesting main character. And I vehemently have been disagreeing with that for 5 years. And I think a lot of you guys agree with me on that. I thought Jyn was a tremendous main character because the evolution, his story arc in Sushima was so well executed. If you want to say, “Hey, he doesn’t start off as a compelling main character. I can understand that. He’s a pretty typical guy. The whole story of Ghost of Sushima is his literal descent into madness, so to speak. And by the end, I just thought the story flew so well together and it was so cohesive. And by the end of it, the decision you have to make, I just thought it was so so well done. Loved Ghost of Ssushima as a game. Loved Jyn as a main character. And that’s why, you know, more than most people, like I don’t care that uh eventually Ghost was going to explore other characters as an IP, but I thought there were more stories to tell for Jyn. I know some people thought that point A to point B, Sushima tells Jyn’s story, but I thought there was so many directions you could go as far as continuing the story of Jyn. But they don’t want to do that. at least not now. And uh hey, with the game development cycle, if they ever do another game exploring Jyn, it’ll be a long, long time away. So that’s why I’m bummed out. I don’t know if Jyn’s ever going to get another game. I would think that with Yotay, they’ll do some sort of call back, and I’m sure there will be relevance if you played Tsushima, even if the game does take place hundreds of years later. But uh love Tsushima. Free avatar is live right now. Use the promotional codes on the PlayStation store and you’ll be granted access to that. I should also note that Sucker Punch did note in collaboration with Alamo Draft House, a curated film series inspired by Ghost of Yote will be showcasing in select Alamo Draft House locations August 2nd through September the 4th, Way of the Samurai will include five films. The Tale of Zatoi, 13 Assassins, Lady Snow Blood Ran, Lone Wolf, and The Cub Sword of Vengeance. So, think that’s pretty cool as well uh to celebrate the upcoming release of Ghost of Yote. So, check out the free avatars. Should also note another thing. Uh, they’re doing the Ghost of Yote popcorn bucket. That’s up for pre-order at Alamo Mart. $40 for that. Yeah, you could go check that out if you do want. But I digress. Moving on from all of that, uh, a brand new free-to-play 10v10 shooter has been announced in Loaders coming from Empire of the Ants developer Tower 5. 10v10 shooter is pretty over the top. Loaders is a free-to-play tactical 10v10 player versus player shooter set in the war torn distant future. Loaders plunges players into brutal, unforgiving battles where every decision, every shot, and every maneuver determines survival. A brutal future built on synapse and steel. The year is 2525. Crippled by the red plague, humanity has been brought to its knees. From orbit, powerful houses wage proxy wars, not for glory, but for gold. This rare element is in fuel. It is the catalyst behind transllocation. The only technology that lets humanity bypass light speed and stay connected across the stars. Every jump burns it. No gold, no travel, no houses, no civilization. You are a loader, a human consciousness uploaded into an anti-grav tank, engineered to be destroyed, recompiled, and sent back into the fight wherever gold is found. Conflict flows, no legends, just contracts, steel, and survival. You’ve got fully destructible environments, tactical 10v10 arena battles, build your loadout, define your role, shields, position matter, and deliberate tactical pacing as well. Loaders. The 10v10 shooter is going to be out sometime in the future. Unfortunately, an official release date was not announced. I would imagine 2026, but be on the lookout for that. And lastly, The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remastered is already out and it is discounted right now on the PlayStation store as a part of their summer sale. And we have a brand new update and patch, a pretty sizable one. Update 1.512.105 uh ver for version 1.2 has been released. apply settings changes and performance improvements. On top of that, they’ve added additionally difficulty settings to allow players to further tune their player combat damage and enemy combat damage. Players can now select from novice, apprentice, adept, journeyman, expert, or master options in the gameplay menu. We hope the journeyman setting specifically will act as a big a better bridge between adept and expert for those of you that want something that’s a little bit more of a challenge but not overtly challenging. So, all of that has been added and on top of that, a plethora of UI fixes has been rolled out. Fix map markers disappearing. Fix missing punctuation. Fix toggle all button on map screen to work as a whole. Various fixes to localized text. Fix controller issues. Fix menus being cropped incorrectly. Fix the incorrect player stance in the inventory menu after fast traveling. Fix rebinding keys for lockpicking. Fix key binds not updating. Fix soft lock with controller and enchanting menu. Fix stats not updating when equipping enchanted items. fix the character skin glitch when closing the inventory menu and a bunch of crash fixes has been rolled out. Audio fixes and uh a plethora of quest fixes as well. Performance updates as well for fixing a lot of uh performance and frame drop issues. So, that’s great to see. $40 right now on the PlayStation store. I mean, it’s a sizable experience. It’s still going to be a little bit dated, you guys. Yes, there are some quality of life improvements, but this is still Oblivion from 2005, so keep that in mind. That is going to do it for me. Again, get yourself some free avatars from the PlayStation store, celebrating the fifth anniversary of one of the best PlayStation games, dare I say, of all time. I really do think Sushima is at that level. I know the 83 on Metacritic might be a little bit misleading, but I would put it right up there with the best PlayStation games ever released. Free-to-play 10v10 shooter in Loaders will be out sometime in the future. Looks pretty interesting there. and an update for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is live right now as that game is on sale on the PlayStation store. That’s going to do it for me.
