Why the USB show less capacity?
Storage devices use a decimal system and PC use the binary system -this leads to some discrepancy between actual capacity and reported capacity by a PC. The difference can be between 2% – 9%. (32GB with usable storage of 29.44GB)
Format
The USB has the format as FAT32, NTFS and exFAT. FAT32 is factory default format, which is read/write compatible with Windows and Mac OS; while NTFS is compatible with Windows but semi-compatible with Mac OS. Please format it if need.
File Above 4GB
If you copy or open a file more than 4GB, please format the USB into ExFAT format.
